Marmite is a savoury spread well known for its distinctive, strong flavour, which has become an iconic British brand.
For over 25 years, our ad campaigns have consistently communicated this insight about Marmite. People either love it or hate it.
So when Marmite created a new product – a combination of Marmite and Peanut Butter, we didn’t imagine the reaction would be any different.
This advert was created to echo the classic children’s book illustrative style, depicting the contrast between a squirrel who finds Marmite Peanut butter so disgusting he has to wear a Hazmat suit, and another who just can’t get enough of it.
