Background
We reacted on the world famous shredding of the Banksy painting "Girl with a balloon". This was the perfect moment for McDonald's to prove once more that it is still a more than relevant brand with a twinkle in the eye and a great understanding of what is important in the everyday's life of the target audience.
We executed the idea within a very short time and were astonished by the result: it quickly became almost as famous as the original shredding. We received requests from journalists from all around the world who wanted to write about our idea as well as other agencies who wanted to copy our idea for their companies / clients.
The work was already awarded a Lürzer's Grand Slam.
