Mercedes-Benz at the North American International Show Detroit 2001.On the occasion of the "North American International Show Auto 2001", a web special has been developed for DaimerChrysler AG presenting the latest exhibition news of Mercedes-Benz with the background of its 100th anniversary. The 100-year-old story of Mercedes-Benz - "Story of Passion" - is the basis of the exhibition concept, as well as the communicative peg of the Website.The heart of the Internet appearance is the chapter "Personalities", i.e. the presentation of those people whose enthusiasm and commitment wrote and keep on writing the story of the trademark of Mercedes-Benz: from the founders of the trademark to the developers and innovators to the racers. The design special of this chapter is a FLASH-animated comparison of the particular people from the past and their respective counterpart in the present.
