OVERVIEW

Background

Meta tasked us with introducing their most advanced VR headset to date in an exciting, mind-bending and highly polished, mixed reality innovation film. The key objective was to present the product as a tool for every day; slotting into any home office set up to enable groundbreaking creativity and otherworldly exploration in the fields of design, architecture and collaboration.

Execution

Working in close collaboration with Meta’s creative team, we designed and directed the launch film for the Meta Quest Pro. Meta’s most advanced VR headset featuring mixed reality, it opens new and exciting possibilities in the way we work, create and collaborate.

The film takes us on a mind-bending journey, effortlessly shifting from reality to a dream-world in a variety of unexpected abstractions and metaphors. Beautifying the product, glorifying its capabilities and throwing light on its high-end finish and build.

Presenting both abstracted otherworldly visualisations alongside real world environments. Initially designing an elevated home office for the product to inhabit, then focussing on the key components of the project; abstracting, extrapolating and transcending them far beyond their physical properties to illustrate the creativity and escapism enabled by the headset.

Outcome

Due to confidentiality, we are not privy to the internal results at Meta so we are unable to comment on the impact that the film has had.

However, the film has over 240k views on Youtube and garnered a positive reaction via comments and likes on all the social sites where it has been posted.
