During the World Series, the ultimate spectacle in basketball, Facebook turned the camera away from the big names to where it all began: the corner stores, bowling alleys, beauty parlors and other local businesses that support our smallest athletes. The film takes us to fields across the country, showing us Little League teams at practice and in competition, intercut with the businesses that made it possible for them to play. Set to a re-imagined “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” a historical liberation song, the work unites athletes, communities and small businesses around a shared dream of making it big one day.
