Execution

Throughout Canada’s history, our stamps have honoured the faces of kings, queens, prime ministers, and even pop stars. But we felt there was one group of Canadians that needed to be honoured much, much more: missing children.

Stamps, by their very nature, enter our homes multiple times daily, whether it’s through our mailbox or our email inbox. By letting people put these missing children’s faces on something they use anyway – the humble postage stamp or email footer - we can send them across Canada and around the world, at no cost to the Missing Children's Network.

Outcome

The long-term goal is that the platform will be picked up by other missing and exploited children organizations, and give them a new tool to use in their outreach efforts. Our platform will be freely shared with any other organizations that would like use the tool, in hopes that it will further the cause of honouring missing children, and further raise awareness of their cause.

As the campaign grows in awareness, it’s already delivered more than 220,000 social and news impressions online, and generated an outpouring of support for the Missing Children’s Network – all in its first few weeks.
