Description
This piece for television and the Web drew its inspiration from the trend of time-lapse videos in which people take daily pictures of themselves over several years and then create a montage, which they then share on social networks. As these videos often feature a child, we felt this style of video would be particularly relevant to raise awareness about the phenomenon of missing children and the Missing Children’s Network in Quebec, as 5,000 children disappear across the province each year. In our video, we see photos of a child from birth until age 4. The photos are then replaced by composite sketches of the child to the age of 10. The sketches depict the eternal hope of parents who continue to search for their child and the appeals made to the public in helping to find a missing child.
