We created the first blogging website with mobile interaction in Poland— partnering with MTV Poland for instant credibility and awareness.The Nokia Moblog Site (mobile + blog = “Moblog”) was heavily promoted by MTV’s station, website and newsletters.On-air and online competitions drove site traffic, with billboards in urban areas raising awareness.
MTV DJ’s even posted their own personal moblogs.And Nokia phones were featured on N-Style — a MTV lifestyle program.
Outcome
Only 4 months after launch, the Nokia / MTV Moblog site already had 28,356 active moblogs. And six months after launch, the Nokia / MTV Moblog site had nearly 3 times more bloggers than achieved by the major competitive blogging service.
