Execution

The aspirational world of Peloton's commercials is not realistic. For those who don't have two-grand to plunk down on a single stationary bike or a sprawling, ultra-modern living room to put it in, Planet Fitness wanted them to know there was a better way. So they created a Peloton-style commercial parody in which a woman tries to work out on her home spin bike, only to find that home workouts aren't all they're cracked up to be. To get to her bike in the cramped corner of her living room, she has to wiggle behind the couch, shimmy past the baby carrier, and step over the dog. The turn in the video comes with the introduction of a new product — the World's First Mobile Stationary Bike, which the woman rides out of her house, across town, and into a friendly and equipment filled Planet Fitness.
