Description

In the past, women’s hygiene commercials have focused on embarrassment.

What happens when your maxi pad doesn’t hold up and you leak. Or even the last Monistat ad where a woman has her friends over for tea and her young son wheels his dumptruck into frame carrying her Monistat box. How does she respond?

She covers her face with shame while her friends laugh.

Others are condescending. Like the Always ‘Have A Happy Period’ Campaign.

No woman’s period is going to ever be happy.

We felt it was high time to break out of these category conventions and also give women the credit they deserve.

It sucks to have a yeast infection. We know that. We’re not going to tell you to make it happy. So we dramatized that in a fun and entertaining way. A way that women could identify with and also laugh at.
