This spot is part of a campaign entitled “Facing Abuse.” It is geared toward Hispanic consumers in the U.S. As Hispanics continue to be taken advantage of by other wireless service providers with inferior service and networks, Boost Mobile provides them with an easy, affordable solution: A $50 monthly plan that offers unlimited talk, text and web on a dependable nationwide network. This particular spot is based on the concept that since the man at the table has been with his current cellular provider for so long, their poor network has permanently given him a “long face,” hence the title of the campaign. The waitress gives him some sound advice, and encourages him to switch Boost Mobile. She then reveals that before she switched, she too had a long face.
