Throughout the Pennzoil Platinum launch campaign, TV, radio and print advertising challenged auto enthusiasts to “Relearn what you know about synthetic motor oil at PennzoilPlatinum.com.” And what better place to learn about motor oil than from an automotive guide on a garage workbench? In this familiar environment, enthusiasts leafed through the animated guide, viewed product demonstration videos, watched TV commercials, took a quiz to earn prizes and even tuned the garage radio between background music and Pennzoil radio spots.
