Description
Since the 70s Castrol is known in the U.S. for famous “side by side” demonstrations in which the car with Castrol oil beats cars running with other brands. We spoofed this well known campaign and used a humorous “race car dream” to appeal to the younger, car passionate segment.
Outcome
Prior to launch Syntec sales were flat to declining. During the campaign sales set all time records, increasing by 12.5%.
