Description

The Motorola mobile experience at the European, Japanese and US Motorola Burton Open competitions created an innovative and interactive form of branded mobile entertainment and essential event information for the riders and spectators. The mobile channel provided participants with essential news - results, photos, timetables and weather updates.

Specially designed Motorola kiosks offered the chance to star in a blue-screen snowboard jump, record a message and create mobile screen savers and ringtones using a digital 'spray can' where strokes create ringtones. This content was sent direct to the user's mobile phone - each one essentially becoming a unique Motorola billboard.
