This ad for the theatrical release of Dimension Films' SIN CITY made revolutionary use of video within in-page online ad units. This ad pushed the limits of video advertising, without being intrusive or annoying, and still presented the videos (trailers and TV spots) in the ways they were meant to be seen (full-screen, wide-screen, and other large formats).The goal of this ad was to present a unique film in a unique way - and audiences responded by consuming the content quicker and more often than any other competing films' content within the promotional period.
