Description
By combining augmented reality techniques with large format helicopter banners we were able to fly a 250 foot wide cinema screen along the Hudson River and New York skyline. The screen itself was embedded with infrared sensors to track its position in 3D space thus enabling a helicopter loaded with sensors and projectors to fly beside it and have the projection image 'lock on' to the screen.
