Description

The succulents of Namibia are perfect examples of flexibility and adaptability, having adapted to the harsh climatic conditions. They presented an ideal metaphor for the Multiplex product.

Our central image of this launch was a succulent surrounded by desert sand and, instead of the natural shadow of the succulent, a subtle umbrella shadow was shown.The details of the launch were printed onto a highly flexible substrate and Namibian sand dune sand was enclosed in the envelope. This made for an intriguing invitation as the sand particles could be heard and felt in the sealed envelope and the actual invitation could be bent and twisted in all directions.

Outcome

The intrigue and innovation of the invitation resulted in a record-breaking turnout of brokers for the launch event. It was a cost-effective solution (especially the sand!), was much-talked about and even attracted press attention.The client was thrilled that the requirements of the brief had been met and exceeded, and that this creative solution was easily implemented.
