A box containing a branded tin of car wax, was given to each broker.
Car wax protects cars, and is a flexible product with versatile uses. The tin was branded as a type of ‘wonder product’ with multiple uses, and the analogy was be made between it and MultiMotor.Wax protects your car…and formica counter tops, shower walls, brass fixtures, lawn mowers, garden tools, patio furniture, jet skis etc.MultiMotor protects your car…and cell phone, mountain bike, kite, laptop, video camera, Sony PlayStation, groceries, wetsuit, surfboard, vintage whisky and so much more.
Outcome
Verbal feedback from the brokers has shown that this gift was highly thought of conceptually and much appreciated.
They enjoyed the fun ‘direct response’ and ‘retail’ feel of the copy and artwork with slogans such as ‘and so much more!’ and the cheeky use of flashes and bullet points.Many brokers say that they’ve used the wax on the cars and other household items - resulting in top-of-mind awareness for Santam MultiMotor.Client said that not only was their brief met - it was exceeded by being creative, conceptual and (to their delight) cheaper.
