OVERVIEW

Background

Similar to the global market, the Korean IoT market is growing rapidly and more and more people are seeking convenience in everyday life with IoT products. Recently, as the importance of AI speakers has emerged, it became more important issue to appeal the strengths of services that became more powerful when IoT and AI speakers were combined. Moreover, the change in the pricing system of IoT products has made it impossible to purchase IoT products as individual products. Therefore, we have launched a campaign that allows consumers to change the frame of IoT, from ‘Internet Of Things’ to ‘Internet Of Home’.

In previous year of the campaign, this company secured the No.1 business leadership by preoccupying the home IoT market. This campaign was conducted to give more customers chances to experience IoT things and strengthen the market leadership through combining with AI speaker.

Description

The films are for ‘My Home IoT’ campaign and we have been produced seven fun episodes of series in the form of omnibus. The episodes are about various and fun situations that family members can use ‘My Home IoT’. It was produced in three episodes targeting parents of childcare, two episodes targeting seniors, and other two episodes targeting single-person. Furthermore, by placing scenes of personifying AI speaker Clova Friends+ throughout the digital campaign video, we were able to make Clova Friends+ look like a family member, while providing viewers a pleasant smile.

Execution

By using various Youtube products, Trueview-Instream, Trueview-Action, VAS(Video Ad Sequencing) and GDN coordinately, we increased efficiency. As for GDN, we used the targeting option using the parameters of viewers obtained through Youtube. We secured the maximum reach through each products frequency and operated re-targeting Ads to convey various messages as much as possible and to make each customer can see our videos for 10 or more times. In addition, we increased the efficiency by eliminating redundant users to the utmost with the specific products through elaborative frequency settings.
