Description

We see Kjetil Andre Aamodt (Kjetil Andre Aamodt is one of the worlds most successful alpin skier of all time, and a national celebrity in Norway) getting ready to test todays ski-course, wich is the road to a children school.

He starts, and does amazing things on his way down. As he skies, he gives a lot of messages on what to watch out for, where to jump, when to gain speed, and so on. At the end we see him ski into the school yard, and say "Now it´s your turn Tone". We then start at the top of the hill again, and now see Tone, a 11 year old girl getting ready. Her imagination made the one and only Kjetil Andre Aamodt to her test skier. She does the same preperation, and heads to school.

Outcome

The campaign not only saw click-rates and engagement rates way above average. The engagement with our media partners reached levels unexpected to client, agencies and media partners. The unaided awareness doubled in the markets, putting Statoil on the agenda for the first time in Europe. But most importantly, the phones started ringing. From large power generation companies that wanted to discuss using Gas form the North Sea to produce electricity. These processes take time, but the potential outcomes in terms of revenue are astronomical.
