OVERVIEW

Description

This demo video is told through the voice of one of the most iconic images in the automotive world – The Crash Test Dummy. It’s the story of how one Crash Test Dummy’s livelihood becomes obsolete when the automotive company he works for introduces a package of safety features that will decrease the number of crashes. So, out of work, and out of crashes, he sets out on a journey in hopes of finding a way to fill the void. Eventually, after exploring a variety of options, he finally finds the one thing that will make him feel whole again.

Execution

“New Gig” is an :80 second film design for online video. It can be found on the brand’s YouTube Channel, amongst other “how to” and demonstration videos. It was released on April 28th, 2017. As far as scale goes, this video will eventually be used for In-Cinema promotainment, Dealer Videos and other mediums as awareness grows.

The timeline for this project was extremely tight. Client greenlight for the project came over the Christmas break and we shipped the completed film on April 24th, 2017.

Outcome

The film was just uploaded and released to the public on April 28th 2017. Results are unavailable at this time.
