Central to this campaign was the conceptualisation, design and creation of a three-story high, two tonne kinetic sculpture composed of over 378 moving parts and more than a kilometre of metal track. The sculpture is a barometer for the performance of the business – communicating the financial milestones achieved.
With over 70 people working on the machine for five months, the sheer size and complexity of the machine was also designed to convey the scale and ambition of the business goal and the collaboration and interdependence that will be required to achieve it.
Outcome
To date, the campaign has enjoyed overwhelming response from the WesBank leadership team, from the media with over R2 500,000 worth of press coverage (over 300% return on the cost of the machine) and most importantly from employees.
