OVERVIEW

Description

This film is about timelessness. It’s about how rural Greece hasn’t changed in the way it looks or in the way people live for hundreds of years. It’s about time old tricks that each generation of children play on their parents. and it’s about a recipe and traditional way of making Total Greek Yogurt that is the same today as it was in 1926.

In this regard, the film could be set at the beginning of either the 20th or 21st century and there would be little difference in the sights, sounds and characters we see. The idea of the film is to play on this fact, gently drawing the audience into a story they believe is set in a past era, when in fact it’s happening today.

Execution

The music in this piece is an original score. The music composer company took inspiration from the period Greek film to compose a piece of music that sounded authentic and narratively scored to picture.
