Background
Volkswagen Official Service has always been the best choice for taking care of your Volkswagen. It’s the only one that can guarantee high quality standards and in-depth knowledge of each vehicle.
The aim of the campaign was to remind all Volkswagen owners to rely on authorized Volkswagen Services also when choosing spare parts, because they only offer original parts at an even more affordable price.
Execution
For the music it was necessary to use a timeless masterpiece. The choice fell on Beethoven's fifth symphony. However, some instruments have been replaced by sound effects sampled on the same note, ruining the composer's masterpiece to convey the message that even a small substitution can have big consequences. As happens in the choice of spare parts for your Volkswagen.
Outcome
The campaign was aired for 3 months on the main national and local radio, increasing sales of original spare parts by +34% in authorized Volkswagen services during this period.
Furthermore, the perception of the brand has grown in terms of reliability: at the end of the campaign, 78% of customers considered Volkswagen Service the best choice for taking care of their car.
