Youths can search for their dreams to find the milestones set by stars/celebrities who have accomplished similar dreams. If the dream is not in the database, the child can send a request via Twitter to a particular star/celebrity to help provide the milestones/steps to reaching their goals. Their North Star will be led back to the website to fill in a simple form which generates a Dream Map that can be downloaded by the youth, accompanied with a personalised advise form their idol.
The website also provides a channel for organisations and individuals to donate and help fund these dreams.
Outcome
More than 1000 parents and youths have submitted requests to their Northstar in the first week of launch.
Each user spends more than 10min on the site, especially on the Dream Maps.
The campaign has helped driven more traffic to http://www.care.sg by 135%.
