Description
We hear a teenage girl, aged 17 or so, narrate in a calm and sad voice the events that turned her life upside down six months prior:
That summer, she and her boyfriend headed off to the beach on a scooter. They only had one helmet for the two of them, and he insisted she wear it. But they got hit by a car as they were riding down the road. Her boyfriend is still in a coma. It's been six months.
She relates her daily life and that of those close to him. They all live in hope that he will wake up someday.
The spot ends with a message addressed to all motorcyclists : wearing a helmet is never optional.
