Oikotie.fi is an online marketplace for cars, real estate, jobs, travel and education. The service includes all the big buying/career development decisions in consumer’s live. Revenues in the marketplace comes from advertising fees (classified ads and online advertising). Targetgroup for the campaign was the people making or having an influence in buying decicions in the related products/services. Communications objective was to differentiate Oikotie from the competitor marketplaces that provide only one area of service. The campaign idea was to make a happiness meter that enabled consumers to test how happy they were with their current life situation. Results were compared with their neighbour’s results or with the whole population of Finland.
