Description

Working from the maxim that we are all perfectly imperfect, this film challenges women to change their perspective instead of their bodies.

Under a rousing voiceover, we see vignettes of real women of all ages, body types, and personalities struggling to fit into too-small dresses, padding their bras, sucking in their stomachs, and suffering through Zumba classes. The voice over then asks what would happen if, instead of trying to change the size of our butts, breasts, or arms, we tried to change something else entirely: our perspective.

The music slows and the mirrors - through which the women had been judging themselves - begin to shatter and explode. As the music picks back up, reaching a crescendo, we see imagery of ecstatic women dancing, laughing, running, and playing rugby.

As the voice over finally affirms, life’s more fun when we accept - and even celebrate - our imperfections.
