OVERVIEW

Execution

Teatreneu invites singles to attend to a specially designed show that will match them with someone with high affinity.

Before the show starts, every person gives a selection of data about themselves they would like to share with a possible match, from name and phone number to personality treats and things they like.

However, this information is kept private till the end of the show, when it only will be shown if there is a match.

During the show, a smile-detector system located in every seat captures the laughter of every individual. Every joke will record whether one person laugh or not and consequently calculate an affinity score. This automatically shows a constantly updated affinity leader-board with images of those who laugh at the same jokes.

At the end of the show, a selection of those with highest affinity is displayed and like in Tinder, the single now picks the people he or she would like to match with. If the other person also chooses them the contact information they initially gave is shared.

Each individual will therefore pay per times they laugh and also a little extra per every match.

Finally, Teatreneu offers discounts to those newly formed matches who go together to watch future shows.

Outcome

More than 3.000 matches are expecting to be made during the singles's shows at Teatreneu. That represented 31% of new loyal costumers or couples who went together to at least another show.

For every euro earned in an average performance, Teatreneu earns 3,3€ extra during each single's session.

Other theaters around the world are interested in buying the license to implement this solution in thematic shows for singles.
