For the final consumer, we created a mail-drop that, once it was placed inside the mailbox, would leave a stretched-out tongue, viewable from the outside. This mail-drop presented PAYSHOP as a convenient service, and to speed up the response rate, several daily prizes were awarded as well as a final prize, a Smart Fortwo.

To PAYSHOP agents we sent out a mailing which was nothing less than good news. Inside there was a piece with a PAYSHOP magnet which presented the promotion as an excellent opportunity to attract more customers to the shop and a number of promotional materials.

Outcome

It was the largest mail-drop action ever carried out in Portugal. It represented an increase of 4.1% in transactions which resulted in an overall revenue of €34,100).Increase of the average number of transactions per inhabitant carried out in the Payshop network from 0.35 transactions to 0.37 transactions per inhabitant.68% of the agents increased the number of transactions when compared to the previous month. In September, only 59% of the agents had witnessed a similar growth and in August only 51% did.About 500,000 offline transactions were carried out, which constitutes a new all-time high and an increase of 60,000 (11.7%) when compared to September.A total of 1,306,371 people used the Payshop service during the month of October, an increase of 0.9% when compared to September.
