Description
We created a direct mailing campaign to launch the game.
To create hype, the mailing, in the form of a baby’s picture book, was sent to games journalists and opinion leaders from the gaming scene. From the outside, the book looks cute, harmless and naive. Inside, the Ratchet & Clank characters show their true faces. With their arsenal of mega cool weapons they destroy and eliminate everything in their path.
Execution
The media idea was developed solely by the agency team.
Outcome
Positive feedback for mailing from journalists and opinion leaders. Both the mailing campaign and the game received very positive critique in the press. Numerous personal thank-yous sent to the client in response to the mailing.
