Background
The brand anthem film created for Japanese skin care brand ‘POLA B.A’.
The brief was to update the brand positioning from a mere skin care brand to a brand that support women living powerfully and positively.
We created a manifest (below) and asked Nick Night to shoot a film under the theme of wind.
Manifest:
The wind generates behind the person who steps forward.
The wind can never be bound.
Never afraid of conflict or frictions.
While changing its shape as if amused in doing so,
it drives the common sense, the society, and the era.
Wind inspires others, sometimes gently and other times strongly
A pleasant breeze that comforts someone.
A tailwind that vigorously pushes someone’s back.

Execution
We manage to shoot beautiful images throughout the film with a strict aesthetic of top photographer. By painting the green paint sectionally on the background, we’ve challenged to layer the cloud partially at the back.
We also challenged to make invisible wind visible artistically by carefully chosen wardrobe, hairstyle and props like gold leafs.
