We gave our target group the opportunity of a different kind of test drive at some of Germany’s largest fun fairs. We modified the bumper cars ride so that anyone who inserted a chip into our “BlueMotion” vehicle was able to enjoy a much longer ride than those who went for a ride on the ordinary bumper cars.

Outcome

During the two-week campaign over 85,000 drivers got a taste of the superior cruising range of the Polo BlueMotion. Over 3,400 drivers ordered additional material or arranged a test drive. During 2007 an amazing 1650 vehicles were sold.
