Within this context, a breast cancer prevention package was developed which encourages women to take the opportunity for early diagnosis. The package includes an educational DVD and a removable brochure with guidance on how to carry out breast self-examination. The package was distributed amongst gynaecologists, at schools and at several events.
Outcome
Very positive feedback from places where the package was distributed (gynaecologists, schools, health institutions). High increase in the number of visits to the website of the Cancer Association of North Rhine-Westphalia.
