Room13 is an international project supported by TBWA worldwide.

It's a network of safe places for children where they can independently deploy their creative skills.

Only a small amount of TBWA-employees knew about Room13. So how could we involve the whole network? We gave everyone the opportunity to turn their (ugly) mail profile picture into art. Just by sending their picture to a Room13-kid via the project-portrait website. Now almost everyone in the network has a beautiful mail picture. The ones who don't just have to ask where those artworks come from. By doing so they're immediately informed about Room13.

On the Project Profile Picture website, you just had to take a picture or upload one and donate an amount of money. Then, a Room13 kid from somewhere around the world turned your face into a piece of art.

Now almost everyone in the network has a piece of art in the right hand corner of his mail. So when somebody asks where that beautiful face comes from we can always tell them about Room13.
