We placed in different walls throughout the city a mural that simulated the continuity of the street. This way drivers didn’t know that it was a wall till some distance, where a reflecting text would appear in the wall reading: “When you realise it, its too late”
Outcome
After this initiative, “Las Condes City Hall”, realised the importance of doing something about this subject.
They supported our idea, and they invested in a large campaign and projects that encouraged drivers to stop drinking when they drive. After this campaign, the number of police force in the street controlling at night, decreased on a 18%. Today, other City Halls are doing the same campaign in their neighbourhoods.
