Arizona Governor Jan Brewer was recently re-elected, despite signing SB 1070, a law that legally obligates police officials to racially profile Latino-looking men, women and children.

The law says that a police officer that suspects someone of being an illegal immigrant is legally required to determine the immigration status of that person.

To draw attention to this travesty and to drive concerned citizens to the BAN 1070 initiative, we decided to use the Governor’s own logic against her.

So, if Governor Jan Brewer thinks all Latinos could be illegal immigrants, then all blonde, Caucasian women could be the governor of Arizona.To drive this point home, we created a web film that assumes any blonde, Caucasian person on the street is Jan Brewer.The BAN 1070 website is an initiative created by Border Action Network, an Arizona-based immigrant rights organization that is currently fighting the SB 1070 law in court with the ACLU.
