The first thing that comes to mind in connection with a tropical rainforest is the wide diversity of fauna and its rainbow of colours. These images contribute to people’s highly emotional relationship with this unique habitat.

With a paint-by-numbers picture, we invited recipients to put colours in this world. However, we only offered them one colour to paint with: black – because currently that’s what the future of our rainforests looks like.
