Big Brother is the most successful reality TV format in Germany. Endemol has chosen us to take full responsibility for the launch of the corresponding Internet web page. This has included the development of the back end information architecture as well as the creation of the interface and the programming of the page. The focus of the development was clearly on the integration of various mobile pay content such as sms and mms newsletters, Java games, ringtones, handy-wallpapers, sms quiz, sms votings, sms chats, sms alarms, sms greetings and an interactive screensaver with daily pics and information. Other highlight-features of the page are live video streaming via umts, an interactive presentation of the format that included the day to day integration of video sequences and a 24/7 direct access to live sound and motion pictures from the house via live streaming. All parts of the page are fully dynamic and the platform should clearly underline Endemol’s ambition to push the convergence process between Internet, TV and mobile applications.
