The Renaissance Night Markets
In almost every city across Asia, you will find one place that is a melting pot of all that is authentic about that city and culture: Night Markets.
From Silom in Thailand to Shilin in Taiwan, Bugis Street in Singapore to Wangfujing in Beijing, these places are the place to go to discover the city.
Our creative idea was to bring the very best of those places into the hotel, thereby giving time-poor business travellers an opportunity to experience the city they are in.
Execution
For the first Renaissance Night Markets, we curated a selection of some of the best vendors from across the city into the hotel. From food and drinks, music and performance, arts and crafts, we worked closely with both the vendors and the properties to create a balanced and inspiring experience.
Inspired by the ambiance of Night Markets, we created a unique and memorable, yet premium identity for the platform.
The power of the concept is that it is scalable and flexible, enabling each property to make it as big or small as appropriate, or to bring in more local characteristics of their own Night Markets.
Outcome
The biggest measure of success is that this platform was adopted by multiple hotels and markets across Asia, and continues to be executed.
