We promoted the event via social media, blogs, radio and posters – all channeling the public to rent a dog at the park.
The funds garnered were used to sustain their lives through vaccination and medication. And if they were ready to adopt, they can, with the understanding that it requires long-term commitment.
Outcome
Adults and children were educated on what it requires to have a dog through experience.
All rented dogs at the event have been adopted and re-homed with the public asking for them by name.
Donations for medication and vaccination went up by 20% in comparison to other fund-raising activities.
