This spot starts from the perspective of a shelter dog that’s terribly excited to have found his human. He “talks” to this person that he’s just met, but has already chosen as the one. Then when a shelter worker butts in to ask if “you like this one,” both the dog and the human say yes. This and the announcer’s voiceover pay off the idea that while you think that you’re choose a dog when you adopt from a shelter, he’s actually choosing you.
