Description

The new Honda HR-V is a revolutionary car within its category. To present this concept, we showed the car undergoing major revolutions of mankind.

Execution

The cast of this film was meticulously researched in order to ensure the accuracy of each scene. We needed a very specific cast that would express time periods, and to achieve that we opened the search beyond the casting agencies.

The work began a month before shooting. Besides working with various acting and modeling agencies, we worked with social networks and with several Internet communities, such as African, French, German, rockers, and bikers. The search also included some schools and universities in Sao Paulo, Santos, and Rio de Janeiro.

The search to find someone who looks like Martin Luther King, for example, was one of the most difficult, because most of the black men we consulted had their hair shaved. But in the end, we found our actor for that scene in Rio de Janeiro.

And for the scene with the man breaking down the wall with a sledgehammer, we sent a reference for the scene that the director had in mind to German Internet communities and casting agencies until we found someone who matched the desired profile.

The search was also extended to the extras. In all, we had 35 supporting cast members and 290 extras.
