‘Fly’ observes a collection of domestic objects taking to the skies, from washing machines with propellers and high-flying whisks to floating petrol pumps and even levitating lawnmowers. The unlikely, gravity defying scenes caused much amusement during filming at an airfield in the middle of The Pyrenees where Simon skilfully combined his knack for creating beautiful imagery with understated humour resulting in a delightful and captivating film.
