Description

3CS’s Rise&Fall app helps promote its range of snowboard gear. By launching the app just before the start of the Australasian winter (May, June, July & August) we’ve not only built excitement for the brand’s apparel, we’ve also built excitement about hitting the mountain in order to score a discount across its range.

Execution

The implemented marketing for the Rise&Fall app was done through a promotion with the help of influencers such as 3CS-sponsored boarders, 3CS retailers and 3CS Outerwear themselves. We utilised social and mainstream channels.

We advertised the promotion and app in-store at 3CS retailers, and utilised the 3CS-sponsored boarders’ social media channels. 3CS Outerwear also used their own social and mainstream channels.

We continued to drive the buzz and shareability of the Rise&Fall app through the daily leaderboard, which posted updates on Facebook and Twitter.

As we’re still in the early weeks of the Australasian winter, the implementation is still ongoing.

Outcome

With 3CS’s recent April launch of Rise&Fall to coincide with the lead up to the 2015 Australasian winter (May, June, July & August), it’s still early days to give any clear indication of uptake.
