The media becomes the message: HSE Hamburger Stadtentwässerung presents all Hamburg citizens with an Easter gift, the biggest Easter eggs ever. The “eggs” can be seen from a large distance and are part of the Hamburg port skyline. They are a well-known, if usually neglected, landmark. The media stunt does not only work towards creating positive awareness for HSE Hamburger Stadtentwässerung but also towards consumers thinking actively about HSE’s services to the city/them.
Outcome
“Hamburg’s Biggest Easter Eggs Ever” generates 10 days exposure to the larger part of Hamburg’s 1.8 million citizens plus commuters from the rural areas around Hamburg which are also serviced by HSE Hamburger Stadtentwässerung at the cost of the illumination only.
