Every day promises something new with the Sex and the City Movie Countdown! The Flash application serves original content combined with aggregated fashion news for three and a half months, and was developed to live on Facebook, MySpace, personal blogs or websites.Original daily content included current fashion trend buzz, this day in history fashion facts, quotes, and a weekly Shoe of the Week pep talk.
The tool was originally displayed on the official Sex and the City movie website under the navigation “Save The Date”. On this page, people were given the embed code and instructed to: “Copy the code below and paste it into the webpage on which you wish to display the widget. You can also paste this code into any HTML-friendly section of your MySpace profile.” A separate link to add the widget to your Facebook Profile was also provided on this page. A person just needs to be signed into their Facebook to simply click and automatically add the widget to their profile. So, the link directs people to the Facebook page dedicated the working widget, with all the relevant Facebook stats, and asks them to sign in to add the application.
