The ThousandDollarShaveSociety.com is for mature, fulfilled men who live, shave and indeed, even procreate in a purposeful, considered manner.
This film highlights our philosophy, and it subtly incorporates a demonstration of the artisan-crafted components of the Society’s main offering - the finest shaving kit on earth, priced appropriately at $1000.
Execution
We introduced to the kit, and our philosophy, with this video to the discerning (and well-to-do) man, by driving them to ThousandDollarShaveSociety.com via a targeted media play in Esquire, the Wall Street Journal, social outreach via Twitter and Facebook, and streaming radio in San Francisco, New York and Dallas.
Outcome
Our goals were threefold: a) To make a point about the value of the sacred male ritual of shaving, and b) Capture the high ground in men’s shaving for the Society c) to sell a modest number of kits. We achieved all of them.
