Giuliana Flores, flower sales online leader in Latin America, wanted to reach a new target: single people. And, who knows, bring back a time when flowers were used as a powerful flirting tool.

Nowadays, timing can make all the difference when attracting someone. Therefore, we created the ultimate flirting tool. It works like this: connect with your Facebook account and select your friends (that are still in a relationship) you want to date. When some of these friends change their relationship status to "Single", you will be alerted automatically. Or even better: schedule a flower delivery.

Execution

Nowadays, the biggest target of an online flower company is people in a relationship. To expand this target, we created an Facebook app for single people. The tool is so useful and funny that the 6 months sales goal was reached only in the second month of operation.

Outcome

Over 17,500 were flowers sold through Single Flower in the first 3 months of operation, leading to an increase of 39% Facebook fans and reaching 500,000 people. And countless new couples.

The breakeven point of the promo (investment vs. sales) was reached only in the 2nd month of the app.
