By creating the Small Great Places platform we provided our digitally demanding target group with the perfect combination of an extraordinary platform with a connection to social networks, the chance to actively participate and a real life benefit.
On www.volkswagen-up.com users could prove that they are real urban insiders and enrich a regular Google Map with their personal tips for the most interesting European cities. The generated maps are transferred into the infotainment system maps + more that is exclusively available for the up!. This way the city becomes experiential in a new way in the up! – generated online, experienced offline.
